•Choose the days and times that work best with your family's schedule. While daily practice is ideal, it isn't always realistic;) Take into account your family's religious observances, sports activities, etc.
•Plan to practice the piano before or after a routine activity, such as a meal or homework time.
•Set a timer. Beginner students should practice 5-10 minutes, while more advanced students should spend at least 20-30 minutes practicing each day.
•Set clear goals for each practice session (for example-practice the new lesson song twice, play a review song, practice scales and chords, etc.).
•Younger students may enjoy a chart, or earning stickers. I have options available:)
