Studio Policies

Tuition is paid at the beginning of each month.  Payment is still expected for missed lessons.  Make-up lessons are available, but payment is still required for a student's missed lessons regardless of whether or not a make-up lesson is able to be scheduled.  The only exception is if I am the one to cancel and a make-up lesson is unable to be scheduled, in which case a credit will be issued for the following month.   

If for any reason you need to discontinue your child's lessons, I require a month's notice so that I can budget and plan accordingly. 

Recitals are held at Christmas time and in the spring.  Participation is optional,  but highly encouraged.

While I place high value on practicing the lesson material, I also understand that each child and family are different.  As long as reasonable progress is being made, I do not have any formal policy on practice times, but I do offer parents tips and guidelines to help find out what works best for their child.
